Mega Menu

Mega Menus offer users a way to navigate to pages deeper in your site without having to click through every page. This feature allows you to add sets of links and some additional content to links in your site's main menu.

Add a Mega Menu Block

You'll need to add a Mega Menu Block for each mega menu you would like to have on your site.

  1. Navigate to Content > Blocks > Add content block > Mega Menu
  2. Add a block description - this is to help you identify the block later when you want to add it to a menu item
  3. Add a heading - this should be somewhat related to the title of the menu item you'll be attaching this to, and it will be linked to the same page as the menu item.
  4. Text Above and Text Below allow you to add additional text content in the Mega Menu.
  5. Add Links
    1. If you're going to add multiple columns of links, each column should have a label
    2. Add the URL and Link text, and an optional description.
    3. To add additional links to this column, press the Add Mega Menu Links button
    4. To add an additional column of links, press the Add Mega Menu Links List button

Attach the Mega Menu to a Menu Item

  1. Navigate to Structure > Menus > Main Navigation
  2. Click the edit button for the link you want to attach the Mega Menu to
  3. Check the Display Mega Menu checkbox

  4. Find and select your mega menu by typing the Mega Menu description in the Mega Menu field

  5. Scroll to the bottom and click the save button. Your mega menu is now attached to this menu item and will display when the menu item is clicked.
  6. You can disable the Mega Menu by unchecking the Display Mega Menu checkbox.
