Adding a sidebar navigation block

All basic pages already have placeholders for the sidebar navigation in their layout, but if you removed them, here's how you can add them back.

1. Navigate to the basic page that is missing the sidebar navigation blocks.
2. Click the Layout link to enter the Layout Builder Interface.

3. Identify if you have a region to add the sidebar navigation to. Look to see if you have a layout region where the navigation can be placed. It should look like this:

   

4. Click the Add block link in the region where you're adding the sidebar navigation. Scroll down through the options on the right until you find the Main Navigation option and click that link:

   

5. In the configuration window, uncheck the Display title option and change the initial visibility level to 2:

   

6. Save the layout
7. If your page is in the secondary or footer menus, repeat the steps above but use the secondary menu or footer instead of main navigation.
