How to Add Sitewide Content

The following steps require the Site Manager or Layout Manager role

Web Express allows you to place content blocks on the entire site or subsets of pages.

If you haven't already created a block, navigate to Manage > Structure > Block layout > Add custom block and create a new content block.

Adding a block to every page of the site

1. Navigate to Manage > Structure > Block Layout

   

2. Choose the region where you want your block to appear. In this example we'll demonstrate how to add a social links block to the Site Information Region.

3. Scroll down to the region you want to place your block in and click the "Place block" button next to the region name.

   

4. Find the block you want to add and press the "Place block" next to the block name

   

5. The next screen allows you to make additional configuration changes, including displaying the block title and setting which page(s) the block will appear on.

   Click the "Save block" button.

   

   
   

6. Once the block has been placed in the region, you can click and drag if you need to reorder them, or even drag them to a different region if you placed them in the wrong region.
