Site Name & Contact Information

The first thing to do after you get your new site is to enter your own site title and contact information.

Set Site Name

  1. Using the admin menu: select Configuration > CU Boulder site settings.
  2. Select General from the list of options.

Set Site name

The default name of  a Web Express site is University of Colorado Boulder. Delete this text and enter your site name in the Site Name field. 

Homepage

You have the option to change the default homepage of your site. You will need to create the page you wish to be the site homepage first, then you may change the default homepage to the new homepage you created for your site. The page title will be hidden when you set your page as the homepage.

Enter the URL of the page you created to be the homepage for your site. Example: /about

Save Configuration

Click Save Configuration.


Contact Info

Modify the contact info for the site as it appears in the site footer.

  1. Enable Add primary contact information.
    • Label (optional); Text field
    • Value: use content editor to add links etc. Does not link to Label.
  1. Enable Add primary email address.
    • Label (optional): Text field
    • Value: Add email address.
  1. Enable Add another email address as necessary.
  2. Enable Add primary phone number.
    • Label (optional): Text field
    • Value: Add phone number.
  1. Enable Add another phone number as necessary.
  2. Enable Show email and / or phone icons in the site footer.

Save Configuration

Click Save Configuration.
