Site Appearance

You may customize various aspects of your site's appearance such as site theme, branding banner color, social media sharing links and more.

CU Boulder site settings

  1. Using the Configuration Menu dropdown, select CU Boulder site settings.
  2. Select  Appearance from the list of options.

Site Header and Navigation Themes:

  1. Expand the Header and navigation section.
  2. CU Boulder campus header color: Select the color for the header background for the campus branding information at the top of the page.
    1. Options: White or Black
  3. CU Boulder site header color: Select the color for the header background for the site information at the top of the page.
    1. Options: Black, White, Light, or Dark,

Menu Settings

  1. Menu style: Select a style for the main navigation menu.
    1. Default, Light 1, Light 2, Light 3, Light 4, Light 5, Light 6, Dark 1, Dark 2, Dark 3, Dark 4, Dark 5
  2. Show breadcrumb navigation on pages: If enabled, the breadcrumb navigation will be shown at the top of pages, helping visitors find their way around the site.
  3. Show sticky menu: The sticky menu appears at the top of the page when scrolling on large-screen devices, allowing for quick access to links.

Secondary Menu

  1. Position of the secondary menu: The secondary menu of this site can be populated with secondary or action links and displayed inline with or above the main navigation.
    1. Inline with the main navigation, Above the main navigation
  2. Display links in the secondary menu as buttons: Check this box to display the links in the secondary menu of this site as buttons instead of links.

Page Heading Content

  1. Expand the Page Content section.
  2. Set the Heading font. Choose Bold or Normal from the dropdown.

Note: Headings are bold by default, but can also be set to the same font weight as normal text.
