People List Page

The People List Page lists people that you've created using the Person content type. Individuals are displayed alphabetically and can be grouped and filtered.

Note: The People List Page is a dynamic collection of the Person content type. When you edit a person's individual Person page the changes will update on any people list page or people list block their information is displayed on.

Add People List Page

  1. Using the admin menu: select Content > Add Content.
  2. Choose People List Page.

Add Title and Body

  1. Title (required): this displays above the list/grid.
  2. Body (optional): add a description at the top of the page, above the list of people.

Layout Tab:

  1. Choose a style from the Display drop-down.
    1. List Display: Displays information in a list format to include: an image thumbnail (left aligned), name/link, title, summary, email and phone. All names are linked to the person's complete information. 
    2. Table Display: Displays information in a table layout to include: an image thumbnail (first column), name/link and title (second column), email and phone (third column). All names are linked to the person's complete information.
    3. Grid Display: Displays information in a grid format in rows of three to include: a square image, name/link and title. All names are linked to the person's complete information. 
  2. Choose a grouping term from the Group By drop-down.
    1. None.
    2. Job Type
    3. Department
    4. Filter 1
    5. Filter 2
    6. Filter 3
  3. Choose an order option from the Order By drop-down.
    1. Last Name
    2. Job Type/ Last Name

Filters Tab:

  1. Limit the types of people displayed on the page. Select the terms under any of the filters to display the people configured with those terms.
  2. Allow visitors to filter the page. Select the box next to Allow visitors to filter by under each filter you would like to enable.

Note: If you allow for visitors to filter the page and limit the types of people displayed on the page, only the terms you selected will be visible for visitor to use in filtering.

Place Page in Menu

In the Configuration Sidebar expand the Menu settings

  1. Enable Provide a menu link  to add the page to your site navigation.
  2. The Menu link title is what displays in the navigation. Adjust if necessary.
  3. Description: (optional) Shown when hovering over the menu link.
  4. The Parent Link places the page in the menu structure of your site. Click the Parent item drop-down and select the parent of your page. 
  5. Weight: Use the weight to order your pages in the navigation. Menu links with smaller weights are displayed before links with larger weights. 

Save Your Page

Click Save.
