Add Menu Link
To avoid duplicate content on your site, you can add a link to the same content from multiple sections. This allows you to reference the content without repetition. Another common use for adding a menu link is when you need a section heading in the main navigation but don't have content for that page. In this case, the link directs visitors to the first child page in that section.
- Click the Add link button at the top right of the page.
- Add a Menu link title.
- Add a Link.
- If existing content: Start typing the title of a piece of content to select it. You can also enter an internal path such as /about.
- If external URL: Type in the full URL, such as https://www.colorado.edu.
- If Homepage: Enter <front> to link to the homepage.
- Click First Child: When enabled, the menu link will redirect to the first child item.
- Select a Parent Link. The default is the Main Menu.
- Click Save.
