Review Form Submissions
You may view and interact with the results of your webform submissions in a variety of different ways.
- A list of all submissions for a given webform.
- Filter results for each field in a given webform.
- Star or add notes to a submission.
- Customize the table view which shows all of the responses for all of the fields of a given webform.
There also exists the ability to download the results in a comma-separated value (CSV) file format for use in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel.
View Submission for a Form
The Submissions page lists all incoming submissions for all webforms. Follow these steps to view submissions on a particular form.
- Using the admin menu: select Structure > Forms.
- Click dropdown arrow next to the form you wish to view submissions and select Results.
Customize Submission Table View
- Click Customize button above the submissions table.
- Select the items you want displayed in the table.
- You may also drag the crosshairs to rearrange items.
- If the form is submitting to different emails, you may use the Filter by submitted to function.
Apply Global Operations to Submissions
You may star/ flag, unstar/ unflag, lock, unlock and delete any or all submissions.
Make your choices and Click Apply to selected items.
Note: Use the Clear tab to delete all submissions. It is best practice to not store/ retain submissions in the Web Express platform especially when personal information is captured. Download submissions to store the data in a more secure place.
Download Submissions as a CSV file
- Navigate to your webform through Structure ยป Webform. Select your form from the list.
- In your webform's dashboard, click on the Results tab.
- In the Results submenu options, click on the Download link.
- In the Format Options section:
- Change Export Format to: Delimited text
- Generate an Excel compatible file: checked
- In the Download Options section:
- Check: Download export file
- Click the Download button to finish.
