People List Categories
Job Type and Department are the two main categories of people. From these two categories, you can create filtered People List Pages. For example, a page of Support Staff from the Theatre department or Instructors in the Fitness-Wellness department.
People can then be further filtered by one of the three sub-filters: People Filter 1, People Filter 2 and People Filter 3.
You can also add, edit or delete the taxonomy terms related to the people content types.
Navigate to Taxonomy Terms
- Using the admin menu: select Structure.
- Select Taxonomy from the list of options.
You'll see a list of vocabularies, i.e. categories. Five of the vocabularies are dedicated to people: Department, Job Type, People Filter 1, People Filter 2 and People Filter 3.
Add Taxonomy Term
- To add a term, use the dropdown next to the vocabulary name to which you would like to add a term and click on add terms .
- Enter the new term in the Name field.
- Click Save.
Change or Delete Taxonomy Term
- To change or delete a term, click on list terms next to the vocabulary name to which you would like to change/delete.
- Use the dropdown next to the name you want to change/delete and choose Edit or Delete.
- To change the name: Click Edit and type your new term into the Name field. Everything tagged with this term will be updated.
- To delete a term: Click Delete. The term will be removed from every person tagged with it.
- Click Save.
Reorder Terms
Terms are listed alphabetically by default, but you can create a custom order by dragging term items to the placement you desire.
- Click and drag the crosshairs next to a term item to reorder terms.
- Click Save.
